The 31 year old singer was nominated alongside some of Africa’s finest artistes such as Amadou & Mariam , Cabo Snoop ,Camp Mulla, Sarkodie, Fally Ipupa, Fatoumata Diawara, P-Square , Spoek Mathambo and The Very Best.

London hip-hop artist, Plan B, snapped up Best Male Act and Best Hip Hop/Grime, which was presented by rising international star, Rita Ora.
