Omo N’Oba Says Did Not Shun President Jonathan

The Oba of Benin, Omo, N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba of Benin on Monday described as “mischievous” reports in certain sections of media insinuating that he shunned President Goodluck Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo and chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party on Saturday during a brief stopover at the palace in Benin city, the Edo State capital.

President Jonathan had led a high-powered delegation to Benin City to stomp for the Governorship candidate of the party in the July Governorship election in the state.
