Man flipped and killed 6 over wife’s affair

A Polish builder slaughtered six people at a family barbecue after he flipped over his wife’s affair, a court heard yesterday.
Damian Rzeszowski, 31, stabbed wife Izabela to death in the street after chasing her through their flat.
When cops arrived they found the bodies of the couple’s daughter Kinga, five, and son Kacper, two, inside.
Izabela’s best pal Marta de la Haye, 34, and her daughter Julia, five, were also discovered dead along with Izabela’s dad Marek Garstka, 56, in St Helier, Jersey.
All the victims had multiple stab wounds.
Just six weeks earlier Rzeszowski had learned Izabela, 30, was cheating on him, Jersey’s Royal Court was told.

Prosecutor Howard Sharp QC said the couple’s eight-year marriage was disintegrating — and Rzeszowski was like a “pressure cooker without a safety valve”.
He had recently survived an overdose and the couple’s trip to Poland to save their relationship fell apart after Rzeszowski slept with a prostitute.
Mr Sharp said Rzeszowski learned of Izabela’s affair in July last year. She texted her lover saying: “Damian has just found out about you.”
The following month neighbours saw Rzeszowski playing with Kacper outside his flat before guests arrived for a barbecue.
But later they called police after seeing him chase his wife into the street and stabbing her.
Rzeszowski cut his wrists but recovered and has been held at Broadmoor. Mr Sharp said he is expected to claim he heard “voices” and remembers nothing. Rzeszowski denies murder but admits manslaughter due to diminished responsibility.
The trial continues.
