Following the head office of cable network HiTV
being locked yesterday, Monday, November 21, 2011 by officers of the
Nigerian Police Force, the management has apologized to its many
subscribers.
In a statement release today, Tuesday, November 22, 2011, the management through its Public Relations Manager, Justin Akpovi-Esade
confirmed and acknowledged that the cable network was experiencing
disruption in its services. He however didn’t make mention the reason
for which its services where shutdown.
'Everything would be fine very soon. A team of competent
personnel are working round the clock to ensure the issue is resolved.
HiTV values its numerous subscribers and calls for their usual
understanding and patience while the issue is being sorted out’, Akpovi-Esade said.
As reported earlier, sources had said the order to lock up the office
which is located at 24a, Isaac John Street was issued by the management
of Guaranty Trust Bank allegedly due to unpaid debt.
